Whether $50 or $500, your gift will significantly benefit the artists and writers served by Contemporary HUM.
- Contemporary HUM is a registered charitable trust in New Zealand, to be eligible for a tax credit, email us to request a receipt for your donation.
- As a token of our appreciation, you’ll receive the HUMcard every couple of months, a special exclusive feature by a NZ artist working abroad, sharing insights and images of their latest project in progress or being exhibited.
- Plus we’ll list your name alongside our other generous supporters on HUM’s Support page.

Join our Publishers Circle
Contemporary HUM’s Publishers Circle is a select group of donors, colleagues, artists, and writers who make an ongoing contribution towards our increasingly ambitious publishing agenda. This is a simple and rewarding way to support HUM in championing the international work of artists from Aotearoa. You’ll receive our very special HUMcard and be kept informed about HUM’s latest publications throughout the year. Most of all, you’ll have the satisfaction of knowing you’ve helped HUM provide a platform (and fair compensation) for our contributors to develop, debate, and publish their best work, while ensuring that our publications continue to be freely available online.
- Your pledge could be $10, $25, $50 per publication, or any amount you choose - every bit counts.
- As we publish twice a month, a pledge of $10 / publication will average $240 / year.
- As a token of our appreciation, you’ll receive the HUMcard every couple of months, a special exclusive feature by a NZ artist working abroad, sharing insights and images of their latest project in progress or being exhibited.
