The 45 shortlisted artists of Officine Saffi Award will be on show from September 7th to November 7th, 2021, in Milan.
Installations, objects, sculptures, and research projects will be on display at an exhibition where the world of contemporary art meets collectible design and high-level international craftsmanship.
This important exhibition will bring together the most exciting research on ceramics in two locations: the Officine Saffi Gallery (via Saffi 7) and a new exhibition space located in Piazza Virgilio 4.

George Nuku: Ducal Salon

The artist George Nuku, who is based in France, undertook a month-long residency at MUDEC resulting in the exhibition 'Ducal Salon': a room furnished with Kartell furniture sculpted by the artist using traditional Maori carving techniques. 'Ducal Salon' is the room of an imaginary noble Milanese palace, adorned with twenty-six pieces of carved furniture that were auctioned off at the end of the exhibition.
